The Heat Is On: Maguindanao Massacre
November 24, 2009
kababayan. I personally condemn the people who did the now called,
Maguindanao Massacre.
Efren PeƱaflorida as CNN’s Hero of the Year, biglang may susulpot na
I am deeply saddened because of the lives that were taken unjustly. Mas
I wonder why and how these people could take their actions. Pano kaya nila
I even wonder how could they take these lives just so
they could proclaim that they’re powerful over the other?
I heard in the news this morning na there were around a hundred people who
did the killing. Wow. Don’t they have mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers,
and kids of their own? Haven’t they thought of themselves being on the shoes
of those people they killed (especially those who have nothing to do with
them at all)? Nakakalungkot talaga po, hindi ba?
I have always dreamed of becoming part of the media industry someday, but
how will I continue that dream when I can hear cases such as this? I
sympathize with the family of Mangudadatu and the families of their civilian
supporters who got killed, but I sympathize more with the families of those
people who were just doing their jobs and have nothing to do with this long
overdue family feud.
To the people behind this massacre, I honestly do not know what to say. All
I have are questions. Why did you do that? Why such merciless act? Bakit po
kailangan pang kumitil ng buhay? Bakit po you had to even rape the wife of
the vice mayor and kill her after? Ano po ba ang inyong mapapatunayan sa
paggawa ng mga ito? Hanggang kailan po ba ito?
Originally, the group was reported to be composed of forty persons. As of
this post, twenty-two dead persons were identified. All of them were
brutally killed. Some were even beheaded. Oh my goodness. And you think this
will stop? I don’t think so. I bet, mag-uubusan ang dalawang angkan hanggang
sa kahuli-hulihang tao na nabibilang sa kanila. I wish this won’t happen.
But with what happened, I just couldn’t help but doubt.
I do not know the history of this case, nor of these families. All I know
is, lahat po tayo Pilipino. Bakit kailangan pang magpatayan tayo? Kesehodang
As I end this post, allow me to say that as an ordinary citizen of this
country, I am praying that this kind of act ends. I am praying that harm
would be taken away, as well as personal intentions, which primarily is the
reason why some senseless acts such as this happens. I pray that as much as
pang rason. I pray that one day, we’ll wake up na wala nang poot at galit sa
NOTE: According to reports the families of Mangudadatu’s and Ampatuan’s in
Maguindanao have a long running feud.
Why We Should Vote on May 2010?
November 17, 2009
Two, if you won’t take part in the coming election, you are disregarding your natural right to vote. You are wasting your right to elect a leader that you would be looking forward to, criticize, or perhaps you would be proud of. In this time that our nation is in great need of change, once you neglect that right, it’s like you have abandoned your mother land as well. Again, no one would care about this nation besides us who are residing on it.
Three, once the leaders have been elected and failed, you definitely have no write to complain. As what I have always said both in my blogs and in my political conversations, “Kung di ka bumoto o boboto, wala kang karapatang magreklamo, wala kang karapatang mangalampag ng mga politiko, wala kang karapatang humingi ng kung anu-ano, wala kang karapatang magpatalsik ng kahit na sino. Bakit? Eh hindi ka bumoto e.” Now you know why it is important to have registered and vote come May 2010.
Lastly, and I believe the most important of all, you are putting our mother land on danger. Why I said so? Your vote is very important to save this land from harmful hands. If you won’t take your part in the coming election, you are really putting our nation at risk. I swear.
I believe we have intelligent voters now. I’d also like to believe that we as well have responsible voters now. ‘Common, let us not be selfish. Let us not put everything to waste. The power of change is within us. Let us do our part.
“Tama na ang mga selfish reasons for not voting. Hindi na ito katanggap-tanggap ngayon. Mahalaga ka and ang boto mo. Yan ang itatak mo sa puso at isip mo.”
It’s Over! Stop Ranting.
November 5, 2009
Voters’ Registration is over.
I salute you guys for being the responsible citizens that you are or have become. The start of something new is just a step away. The change that we have been eying for is right on our hands.
We have done the first step. Next is to become resposnsible in selecting the right person, if not the best. Remember guys, our vote is very important. It portrays a very important role in realizing the change that we have always wanted. Muli, maging mausisa po tayo. Let us not go after the popularity, the who’s who. Let us vote for the person who we can trust and entrust our nation, who haven’t done anything wrong against us or against our nation. Let us become the wisest voters that we can be.
Sa mga hindi nakapagparehistro:
Common, we were given years not days para makapagparehistro. Some of you kept complaining about the process and all the other stuff. Guys, come to think of it, kung tutuusin kasi, wala kayong karapatang magreklamo. I don’t get why people tend to do stuff kung kelan last day na. Now, pag hindi na-meet ang deadline, magrereklamo and would ask for extension.
Isn’t three years enough? Yes, we were given three years. A day after the 2007 elections, nagsimula na agad ang pagpaparehistro. Imagine how long the time was? You wasted your chance. You wasted your chance to help this nation be back on track. You wasted a lot.
Okay?

Next in Line:
Sa mga tatakbo for 2010 Elections, sana po wag kayong magsiksikan sa last day of filing of candidacy, which would be on December 1, 2009. Be a concrete good example to the Filipino citizenry.
People, this is something to watch out for! Sino kaya ang unang-unang magfafile ng candidacy? Hmm.. Excited na ako! Sana kayo rin!
